An upbeat brand of Hill Country and Delta Blues which has its roots in Clarksdale, Mississippi – the location where the duo first met in 2019.
Dedicated to capturing the raw hypnotic energy you’d find in a traditional ‘Juke Joint’, both musicians are devoted to keeping this unique music alive, with an added fresh edge.
Kaspar plays regularly on the London Blues circuit and has made appearances at many of the leading UK’s Blues Festivals, both solo and with his band ‘The Swamp Dogs’. With his raw guitar sound, he has been described as a 100 year old blues man in the body of a 25 year old.
Lucy is well known on the scene as a session drummer, and has played with the likes of Ben Waters, Mississippi Macdonald, and James Oliver as well as spending time in the USA working with musicians such as Watermelon Slim & Robert Kimbrough Sr.
Tangled Blues Festival w/Kaspar & Lucy (Radford Mill farm, Somerset)
https://www.tangledrootsfestival.com/tangled-blues#lineup
The Radford Mill TANGLED BLUES Festival is a celebration of the blues in all its forms, from raw Delta sounds to electric grooves. Also known as Tangled Up In Blues, with a nod to Bob Dylan’s song “Tangled Up In Blue”, the festival brings together carefully selected local, national and international artists for an unforgettable weekend of soulful live performance. As well as artists performances the festival encourages participation with open stage spots and campfire sessions late into the night. Bring your instrument and your voice (acoustic only around the campfire – no amps and no drums is how we love it). The festival is intended to be a small scale and intimate affair, and ticket numbers will be limited to a maximum of 500. The festival takes place in the beautiful grounds of Radford Mill Farm on the edge of Timsbury, south west of the City of Bath. The festival grounds are bisected by the Cam Brook and have been landscaped to include a small amphitheatre area, fire pit and many lovely spots for enchanting and memorable experiences.
Kaspar & Lucy supporting Massey Ferguson (USA), What's Cookin', London
https://wegottickets.com/f/20586
Seattle-based americana band Massy Ferguson is known for songs that explore stories that come from miles between small-town youth and the complications of growing up. Their music often highlights the blue collar aspects of American life with sounds crafted by songwriters Ethan Anderson and Adam Monda, notably featured on albums like their recent acclaimed You Can't Tell Me I'm Not What I Used to Be, which charted in the Top 40 on the US Americana charts in 2025-26 and recently landed them a showcase slot in Nashville's famed AmericanaFest.
If Massy Ferguson's previous records unfolded like soundtracks for loud, lively evenings at the bar, then You Can't Tell Me I'm Not What I Used To Be explores a different sort of sonic real estate. This is the band's cinematic version of rootsy American music, produced by Damien Jurado — an idiosyncratic folksinger celebrated for his craft as much as his unpredictability — and filled with vintage tones, analog production, lush instrumentation, and the sharp songwriting that's always been the bedrock of Massy Ferguson's music.
Nearly 20 years into their career, Massy Ferguson haven't just established a sound — they've reached past it, too, turning a new page in a story that continues to be written.
"Vintage rock & roll approach...quite indelibly cool. There’s Eddie & the Cruisers in their forte, some Jason & The Scorchers & Del-Lords in their attitude" AMERICANA HIGHWAYS
"Massy Ferguson have proudly planted their boots on both sides of the country-rock divide, carving out their own brand of amplified Americana along the way" NO DEPRESSION

ANDY TWYMAN:
Andy Twyman's one man band act is a unique blend of deep blues with comedy and rock & roll. The result is a show packed with heart and humour. Andy has found a place as one of the most original acts on the circuit today. His distinct style has been heard and seen at Glastonbury Festival, on BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4.
Andy first took to the stage aged 12 in pubs and clubs, with his guitar, voice and harmonica, performing solo and jamming with local musicians including Rory Graham (aka Rag and Bone Man). Before hitting 18, he had gigged as a solo act in top London venues including The Jazz Café and 100 Club. Driven to create a distinctive and exciting act, Andy learnt to play foot operated drums, giving his songs a beat to get people on their feet. Drawing on influences as diverse as Muddy Waters and Monty Python he developed a one man band show.

Not Only But Also The Blues: Vince Lee & Sophie Lord / Xtra Tacos
Vince Lee & Sophie Lord
Vince has been playing and singing the blues in all its forms since the mid 80s and has influenced many like-minded musicians with his guitar playing. Sophie Lord was one of those people. Recently returning to Plymouth after 10 years working as a bass player in London, Sophie joined forces with Vince in early 2022.
XTRA TACOS
Formed in the summer of 2025, Xtra Tacos is a collaboration between three of the finest blues and roots musicians in the South West, with Ritchie Lane on guitar and vocals, Ian Jennings on bass, and Lucy Piper on drums. The band plays blues, swing, and rock and roll, from Texas to Chicago, and all points in between.
Ritchie was picked as one of Guitar Player Magazine’s (USA) ’Big Eight Players’, as well as being reviewed by Blues in Britain as having “Majestic command on the guitar, with a great stage presence. If James Dean had sung the blues it would have sounded like this!” He has previously fronted his own band, played solo and as part of The Primitive Noise Band, alongside Ian.
Ian Jennings started his musical journey playing for the Big Town Playboys. Since those days, he has played with Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Robert Plant and Tom Jones. He is currently on tour with Andy Fairweather Lowe, and has often backed Mud Morganfield, the son of Muddy Waters, when he comes to Europe.
Lucy, daughter of the late bluesman Julian Piper, has spent much time playing in the juke joints of the Deep South, and has backed up the likes of Mississippi Macdonald, Ben Waters, as well as having considerable success with her previous band Southern Fried Groove Queens, playing festivals overseas, and being picked for Joe Bonamassa’s Blues & Rock Playlists. She is known for her distinct Hill Country style, which she has honed by playing with SFGQ, Stompin’ Dave, and her latest project ‘Kaspar & Lucy’.
